What is MiniMoves

MiniMoves is a physical activity program for children aged between 5 – 12 years focusing on fun and movement.

Our mission statement is to provide a fun way for children to be physically active without fear of failure and to improve ability to participate in sports in a non competitive environment.

Sports Specific Training

MiniMoves Programs

MiniMoves classes are pre-choreographed 60 minute sessions addressing all areas of fitness.

MiniMoves sessions include the following format of activities:

Warm up activity – activities to warm up the bodies and help students feel comfortable within the group

Cardiovascular activity – circuits, relays, and obstacle courses to provide a cardiovascular and strength workout

Skill based activity – activities to develop and improve throwing, catching, kicking, aiming and running skills which enhance sport performance

Games – games that keep children moving and laughing at the same time

Balance & Stretch – exercises to promote coordination and improve flexibility as well as cool the bodies down

MiniMoves Circuits

MiniMoves Circuits are 60 minute action packed fitness classes, offering an energetic alternative to work up a sweat while having lots of fun!

MiniMoves Circuit sessions include the following format of activities:

- A group warm up activity
- 30 minute skill circuit incorporating 10 stations that address cardiovascular fitness, skill development,    balance, strength, coordination and agility
- A group cool down

MiniMoves Instructors

KinderMoves Instructors have the following qualifications: Body Brilliant

- Certificate III and IV in Fitness
- MiniMoves instructor accreditation
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check / Police Check
